The Realm of Family

[Under construction] The Realm of the Family encompasses all familial relationships. Agents within this realm are bound by blood, covenants of marriage, and covenants of adoption. Hierarchies within this realm include: Wife subject to serving Husband, Child subject to serving Parent. The rightful motive forces of the Realm of the Family are the positive ones: Hope, Love & Peace.

The Origin of the Realm of the Family

The Realm of the Family originated when God made Adam & Eve in the image of the Godhead as male and female and gave Eve to Adam as his wife and helpmeet. Another aspect of the Realm of the Family was established when Eve gave birth to her first-born son, Cain. This aspect of the Realm of the Family is further developed and revealed by the concept of adoption.

God’s intervention in the Realm of the Family

[Developing....] [Developing....] There are many different ways that God is revealed as being a Family. All of these ways are shadows that point to the greater truth. Even though any one of these revelations could be exalted to a rigid and comprehensive explanation of the Godhead, this is to be strictly avoided, because there is no one human explanation that can completely comprehend the mystery that is the Trinity. Though the Trinity cannot be fully comprehended, each of these shadows help us to better understand it:
  • The first and second persons of the Godhead are often referred to as the Father and the Son. In this context, there are two images of those who trust in God for their salvation:
    • Individually, they are called adopted brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.
    • Collectively, they are called the Church, the Bride of Christ.
  • The relationship between the first and second persons of the godhead is also implied to be like that of Husband and Wife. In this context, all of the universe is considered to be the consensual creation of the Godhead, and those who trust in God for their salvation are called the children of God.
