Here’s an article in the New York Sun about the persecution and martyring of Christians in North Korea. This is the difference between true Christian martyrs and any Islamofascist who dares to use the term: Christian martyrs are killed by others just for being what they are. Islamofascists kill themselves and others because those others won’t become like the Islamofascists. The word marytr is a Greek word that simply means “witness”. A Christian martyr is a witness to how much being a Christian is really worth. An Islamofascist suicide-bomber is a witness to how worthless his faith really is; if it was worth anything, violence and fear wouldn’t be necessary for conversion. He who knows love and truth will give up anything and everything to just hold on to them; he who knows only fear and lies despairs of everything, including life, and will take as many as he can with him down to despair. The ends of both are clear: He who takes the life of others will burn for all eternity, and he whose life is taken from him will be given a white robe and rule in heaven.
