North Korea is slowly going south.

[Old post that was From Wit's End]

Young Howard postulates that the North Korea problem may be slowly correcting itself:

  • The North Korean state attempts to utterly control the market, the market is pushed out like the sea from land that lies too low. The government dykes may hold it out with great effort, but some puddles are left behind.
  • From its attempted usurpation of market authority, the state rots from the inside out, while growing like a cancer.
  • The market reasserts itself through the smallest opening in the monolith. Money acts like a solvent, and the cracks propogate.
  • …Thus fall all the walls that attempt to prevent the Market, like the sea, from finding its own level.
Keep pushing back, friends. Ill Jom King only has so many fingers that he can put in this dyke.
